Guys-
I had to replace the bottom portion of the seat which led to me taking out the disgusting, dirty, grungy package tray with material. I took the material off of the package tray and then took the material off of the rear seat bottom. I then epoxied the material on the package tray. I think it looks pretty good. I will say that GM used some really good adhesive on the package tray

To be honest, it sounds better than stock. The reason is that I cut about a 2" hole in the tray where the 1" tweeter is in the 4x10 speaker. I then cut out some of the cardboard pieces on the underside. It has these horrible slits in it that don't work very well. I opened them up a bit. It is just very thin material (the grey part) now over about half of the speaker (no more cardboard tray material). I just blasted it and it sounded ALMOST as good as with no covering at all.
I originally had planned to make holes and put 4x10 speaker grill covers on it to have the whole speaker open, but I did not like the look of the covers on the grey.

sweet.. are you running stock speakers, or aftermarket? my stock speakers are trashed. and i've been thinking of putting some sort of blue cloth over my package tray, since that pesky rear window leak that i can't track down had made my package tray look all crappy. probably what killed my speakers, too... if all i need is some material from a junkyard rear seat to make it look better, then i'll go that route.

Nice! Very different. I redid mine in all black instead of the lighter color and it looks awesome!

:) Nice! It adds a slight touch of class to an already classy car! Good job!

I like it! Almost tempting to put silver racing stripes to match the cloth!
Just kidding! Different but tasteful.

Novaderrik- My speakers are not stock. They are pretty decent (don't know off hand) and have a 1" tweeter in the midddle of them. I would imagine that getting a blue, either bottom portion or top portion, of a regal seat should not be that hard. The cutting and glueing and stuff is a little of a pain though. Make sure you mod the tray too, but be careful, because the cardboard can be brittle. I used some 5 min epoxy from Walmart for the seat material. If you use headliner material or a very light carpet you probably wouldn't need the epoxy and just possibly a spray type adhesive. I bought headliner material at JoAnne Fabrics (with a 50% off coupon) and I bought a black marine carpet material at Lowes for pretty cheap, but of course decided to do the GN material.

49 blues- That is what I originally wanted to do, and I could imagine that looking better than mine. I just had the material and said screw it. Do you have any pics you could post?
I did my headliner in black and it came out awesome. Inquired about putting 2 grey stripes in the headliner above the grey inserts in the seats and the installer said he didn't want to do it. Oh well.

The epoxy on the grey part bleed through and pissed me of, so I did it again  I used a spray adhesive for the grey this time. I also added some speaker grills and painted the third brake light black. All I have to do is put the grey trim pieces on the side and I'm done. Was also thinking about putting a small Grand National or Buick sticker where the speaker name is on the grille. Thanks to Brain at Gbody for his help too:D You can see my black headliner in one of the pics.
