Check Valve Popped under boost?

Last night I went out for a cruise in my GN. On a back road I can to a stop, hit the gas and when boost started to rise I heard a pop. I pulled over and seen a check valve split in half. I replaced it today and it drives fine.Have anybody seen this before?

It was probably just old and dry rotted and died on the field of battle. Give it a proper burial.

Clean it up, put some right stuff on it and put it back together and carry on.

get some ball check valves.
i am using a single check valve for all my vac accesories plus another for the pcv.
