She has been transfered to a med center that performed the first face transplant. They are working to get her stabilized, and somewhat calm, B4 there's any more surgery.
They said on Animal Planet last nite, that a chimp can run 10 times faster than a man. And, many times the male chimps will attack anyone they see as a threat to thier leadership. The mere appearance of this lady could have triggered a territorial defense attack. The program involved the camera man that filmed Jane Goodall's studies. He had his a$$ kicked several times.. Always by the alpha male...Never bit or tore body parts up, but knocked him silly by just running into him.
NOT an animal to have around the house.
BTW, the owner has stated she did not give the animal a drug, but gave him tea.
