Chris went 8.27 @ 170 this weekend making him the fastest stock suspension GN/ G-Body (with a v-8 or v-6).

This was done with low boost and with a hurt transmission.

He also got second place in Heavy Street running a hurt 8.40 @ 168 in the finals.

Once all the bugs are worked out expect 7.8s @ close to 180MPH

The car weighs over 3500lbs, runs the stock suspension with a 29.5 X 10.5W Tire. It is powered by a TT Duttweiler SBC.

Awesome! There is no question about it... He is the quickest/fastest with a stock suspension GN/G-body car and will continue to be!!! I wish Chris the best of luck with his quest for the 7's and congratulate him on his accomplishments:)

Impressive

I got to see his car run on Saturday...8's @ 170mph making it look easy.....very impressive to say the least. he just rolls it out 150ft then unleashes the fury,

I can understand why he ditched the Stage 2 stuff.

He ran against Manual B. (Stage 2 TT 155mph) on one pass and ran right around him.....

The PSCA put on a very good show and California Speedway over the weekend....looking fwd to it again towards the end of the year.

It has a Wolf bar and other goodies doesn't it? That takes the stock out of the equation. Although cool it isn't real smart. If he really drives the car like he stole it he may get hurt which is not what we would like to see.

Nice Chebby.

Who cares about the stock suspension?

I do care about the MOTOR.

V6 Turbo. :)

I think I had the fastest turbo Buick with water logged interior at one time. :p

I agree that we do not want to see any racer get hurt.
In regards to the suspension most of the Fast Buicks run
the Wolf Sway Bar.

Jack Cotton
Tony Gomes
Cal Hartline

They are all still considered stock suspension;)

Thank you it is a nice chevy motor in a buick chassis.
I guess you and Duttweiler agree since he came over
and tickeled the Motec for Chris at the race.
What does he know anyway, he is only the God Father of the GN.
