ck performance shift kit?
I posted on here a few days ago about my correct trans level, the way transgo told me to check it. I was having problems with fluid coming out vent, after I put in the transgo shift kit. I am not happy with their kit, it was definately more involved than the art carr $50.00 shift kits I have used in the past in all my Ttypes ad GN's..I put this in my 39k mile turbo ta, and it has a weak 1-2 shift, and downshifts hard, bad clonk, and does the same upshifting into I think 3rd or overdrive under very light throttle. I"d rather have left it stock.....I did remove the seperator plate and drilled out some of the holes, and actually plugged one with an aluminum plug that I had to flatten out.......The art carr ones I used in the past worked fine, would chirp the tires cleanly 1-2 shift, and real close on the 2-3...but this kit doesn't do it. I checked the tv cable, it's at max tv...not satisfied at all. What would it take to get one of Chris's shift kits, I guess I will have to get a new seperator plate also, one that hasn't been butchered, it was virgin till I drilled on it last week. My valve body has the TA on the side of it. I promise I will post on here as soon as I get the thing figured out.
