Anyone know where I can send my chrome wheel well moulding to have them cleaned up and reconditioned? I live in Michigan.

FWIW & IMHO:
Almost, or all cars that I am aware of have been using stainless steel for years, maybe forever. If you are referring to the part of the trim that shows from the exterior of the car, you might be able to clean them up yourself with most of any of the metal polishes that are on the market. I use a car glaze on mine that has a slight amount of polishing compound in it. Other than that approach, I would suggest finding someone that specializes in polishing stainless steel trim, and caution against using someone that does not have any experience with stainless steel trim. I think that the stainless steel ones are still available from the dealers. Probably not cheap.

Most of the bright moldings on a Regal are aluminum. You can strip off the clear anodizing with Easy-Off oven cleaner and polish them to a chrome like finish with high speed buffing equipment. Check with some of the chrome refinishers in your area. I've been reading a lot about electro polishing and I hear some have the equipment to do this now. It might be cost effective as it isn't as labor intensive like the old traditional methods.

Oops, my bad, sorry, I had never noticed the difference between the 2 shades of brightwork. Eric is correct, most of the bright work is aluminum.
However, the big band at the bottom of the windshield is stainless and the wheel well moldings are stainless steel. If you look close, you can observe the difference. The stainless steel wheel moldings do polish up pretty nice by hand with a light metal polish, and you can see the black come off. I wipe mine down occasionally with a rag with just a pencilpoint worth of metal polish, even Brasso will work.
