Chrome vs painted bumpers on Turbo T

Looking for opinions on a chrome vs painted bumpers on a burgundy Turbo T. She currently has chrome bumpers and the car has no shortage of compliments every place I take her. Also, is there any weight savings by going to a painted set?

IMHO, stay chrome with that color...the traditional white or black cars look real good mono-colored, but that color really plays off the chrome accents.

oh yeah, only weight savings to be realized is if you switch to a set of fiberglass bumpers which would obviously require painting

I did white on mine and love it but not sure how a burgundy car would look.

I had a burgundy Turbo T back in the day. Stay with the chrome bumpers. JMHO
