CK shift kit has NO 3rd gear correction...and a few questions

Chris I bought the entire kit for this feature(already have an older kit in my trans) plus the updated spring in the accumulator valve train and there's nothing mentioned in the instructons or a spring for the 3rd gear correction. What is the deal.....I spent $135 for 2 springs and one is MIA.

I did recieve a tiny spring with one of the plates that looks like it belongs in the pump under the slide pin. Is this the one? Where does it go? Just to be clear I bought 1 3rd gear kit,2 plates and a complete shift kit(missing the 3rd gear correction). So either way I am missing something.

The drum looks nice,I was expecting two solid rings to be on it as in the pic on your site.

On page #9 of shift kit instructions it say install silver line bais spring IF the engine is stock under 300HP. So what do I do if the engine is Modded and has over 300 HP. Leave or put back the stock BRF line bais spring?

The little spring you describe is the one you use in the 3-2 control valve assembly. Pull out the the spring and valve then put the new spring in the bore first then the valve. opposite of the factory where they put the spring on the outside. You can block the line bias valve so it wont move with a piece of drill rod

Yes leave the stock spring so the lite throttle shifts are not bangy.As for the 3rd gear fix,all of the plates we sell have the hole deletes and corrections made for the last 3 months.We package 100 kits at a time so you have received 1 that has been on the shelf.The rings on the shaft dont get installed until after you check intermediate section end play .The reason for this is if pre installed it makes it hard to move the drum up and down to get a reading.If the rings arent or werent in the package,I apologize.Post a fax # and I will fax you a copy of the 3rd gear information.

As for the 3rd gear fix,all of the plates we sell have the hole deletes and corrections made for the last 3 months

So the 1st desgin of the new plate has been updated also? Is there a simple way to tell the difference between the two? I am trying to get all most current updates in my build.

Along with the rings being MIA I also am missing the spring for the 3rd gear correction in the complete kit.
