Cleaning a K&N filter

What can I use to clean my K&N air filter? I haven't tried to clean it yet, but will soap and water work? What about re- oiling it?

K&N makes a special cleaner for their filters. Comes in a pump spray bottle. Just spray it on let it sit for a while and then wash it out. Let the filter dry and then re-spray with their oil. Go easy on the oil.
