Looking sweet, lots of car part porn there !
Only thing missing is the coil overs <grin>
11" or 12" brakes ?
I have the same rims I think 16x8 GTA's

They are 12-inch brakes. 16x8 GTAs is correct. Did not really even look at the coil overs. The DSE kit seemed pretty complete so I didn't mess with it.

Looks good, I have trouble committing to the 12" as I don't think my drag wheels will fit then

Mike, brake fitment is prolly a crapshoot at best, unless you go Wilwood, Brembo, etc where they can supply a template. FWIW, my old '47 Ford had 15" Weld ProStars over 12" C-4 'Vette brakes with room to spare...

I'll be getting to this as soon as I'm done mocking up all my new components for my new engine. I'll be doing front frame and firewall. Core support and inner fender detailing.
I'll be re-reading this post for the correct products to use. I had a oil cooler line blow and it dumped oil everywhere. I GOT A SERIOUS OIL MESS.

My car got the ziebart treatment when it was new. It did a good job of preserving, but it's not fun to remove. Since the engine is out at the moment and the front clip is removed I started following this procedure:

1. Wipe Frame with M.E.K. http://www.tapplastics.com/uploads/products/MEK_Solvent-xl.jpg
2. After it sits a few minutes I good scraper I picked up at true value.
3. Wire brush the remaining material.
4. Wipe down again with M.E.K.
5. Por 15

Here is what it looks when I start scraping. When it looks like the 2nd pic I start wirewheeling.

Try the spray bottle oven cleaner from Sams club, 3 pack for about $8, you will be very happy.
