Looking for the u shaped clip that holds the shifter handle onto the shifter stalk. Let me know if you have one! THanks----Jeremy

If you plan on going treasure hunting, pull one out of an 80s style grand am. Pretty sure the clips are the same. I take it you didn't get one when you bought shifter parts? These cars also make good donors for rear view mirrors and inner and outer door handles for camaros :) ....damn those heavy fbody doors..... Oh yeah, they also have black radio antennas and the same front speakers i think

No kidding! I'll check the Grand Ams! Otherwise I'll jsut buy some from Brian. Just dont want to have to pay $12 in shipping for a part that can be put in a stamped envelope. I usually wait to buy the little things until i have a bunch of stuff to buy so I can save on the shipping costs. This sint for my car so I dont want to spend Moooven6's money in excess.

I wonder if the springs and rod are the same too:confused: You should check that stuff out too when you go. And a little side note I've learned over the years. If you have a outer door handle that seems loose and the nuts are tight, chances are its on its way out and gonna break. When they get loose watch it because they can get bad enough to where they will dig into your paint when you lift the handle!

Springs & J-rods aren't the same among the GM's but the "U" clips that hold the shifter handle are I usually pick 'em off the cars at the yard just because...
