I want to install a new stock location stretch IC. If I were to buy a new IC would I have to clock the turbo to fit the new Intercooler or would it line up with the stock turbo? Stock turbo already mounted on engine as well as factory IC>

it really all depends on the intercooler used.....if it poses a problem it really isnt that big of a deal to re-clock the compressor hsg....and the you are guaranteed the best fit possible

Seems like the best way to install a turbo, makes sure everything is aligned.

you don't have to pull any, just loosen them up and both sides will rotate. the way I did it was to align the outlet first, then the oil drain back line, and last the exhaust flange. Very easy and perfect alignment. Don't be scared to loosen the turbo bolts, just be careful when tightening them, some people have been known to overtighten and strip them.

Stock turbo? Compressor housing bolts, ok, easy to loosen and move the outlet. Turbine housing bolts...no,no,no. Rusted, weak, and most snap the head right off.
