closed loop question?

Cranked my car up and it was in closed loop and if sounded like it went to open loop but scan master was still blinking so whats causing that anyone?Think I got the closed and open thing right.

I think you got it backwards..when you start the car up there is a delay from open to closed loop based on time and engine temperature, with open loop being first.
