Closing door Armrest or Strap

Just wanted to get everyone’s opinion, how do you close your door when in car..
Armrest or strap? Why?

Both, but usually the strap.

Easier to grab.

Armrest. Ive pulled the strap off and it just seems easier with armrest than fixing the strap.

Arm rest. Using the strap the screws eventually come loose and it breaks the molding on the door.

I used to use the arm-rest. now I pull on my straps without fear.

That's what the factory should have done. I've done this fix yet still use the armrest only from habit

The armrest. After having people repeatedly ripping out the pull strap I had these made.

I use both ways. I never gave it a thought before, never had a favorite way of closing the door. But as long as the mounting screws are tight it shouldn't be an issue.
