Coated bearings questions.

So my motor has clevite bearing and was gonna button the bottom up but was thinking of changing them so where can I get coated bearings is it worth it for rods and crank .

Ok they say it's alittle thicker so if I have a clearance 002 will it be ok to use?standard size

I just installed a set of calico coated bearings, cam, crank and rods.

I have a new block and all bearings are standard size and everything measured out fine including thrust.

My clearance came up on the money at .002 in my case but as with anything else your results could vary.

They should come up the same as a non coated bearing as even non coated bearings have a small variance from bearing to bearing.

Ok thnks gonna get them do you have part number for the rods bearings can't do the cam bearings cause don't have the installer
