Hi I Have A Code 23 The Chart On Turbo Buick Site Call It Mat But I Have Yet To Find It Need Help Thanks.

The hotairs don't have a MAT. If you changed over to the 87 ECM, you will get a MAT code since it's not plugged in. You can have your chip maker program your chip so that it does not set the code and a check engine light, or you can install a MAT. Caspers makes a kit that comes with a mat and wiring that plugs into your computer. The sensors themselves are everywhere at the junkyards and small enough to carry out in your pocket. Most people that are running a K&N filter poke a hole in the rubber at the base of the filter for the sensor.

One More Thing The Reason I Ck For Codes Is That The Cars Is Running Bad When I First Start The Car With It Is Cold It Runs Good But When The Motor Starts To Heat Up It Starts To Run Bad BY NOT HAVING A MAT CAN THAT BE MAKING THE CAR RUN BAD?

You may be running rich. Do you have scantool or scantool data?

Assuming you're running the 87 ECM, are you using the 84 or 87 MAF? The 84 is calibrated differently and will make the car run slightly rich with the 87 ECM. It could be a ton of things like bad 02 sensor, exhaust leak, or bad coolant temp sensor.
