Code 24...where is vss?

Ive never had to replace the vss and would like to know where its at and if any of you guys had the same code 24 and it not be the vss.

i believe the VSS is under the dash near the fuse panel.

In dash cluster by speedometer head green in color held by small bolt like 7/32 or 5.5 mm socket to remove

The optical sensor bolts to the back of the speedo housing.
