Coil Pack Check Up

Hey guys when I go to OHM my coil pack in a few minutes I just put the probes one on the back & one in front & look for 12-14 ohm right?Inn other words I check each set of two so only three readings total .Hate to be so wordy just want to be sure.Laso who has a high performance one for sale? Are they worth getting?Alos a cost if anyone knows it Thanks Chris
