Cold air induction

so i was at lowes yesterday looking ast the PVC pipe and fittings and had a Idea but dont know how well id work if at all. There was a rubber y shape with 3in openings. COULD a filter be put on the down part of the Y AND extend a piece if pipe or somthin through the headlight hole and put another filter on the end of it?? sounds freaky i know but it would doulble the air flow wouldnt it? or am i crazy

There's also a hole in a bulkhead behind the headlights which leads to the space behind the grill. I ran a section of aircraft grade flexible duct from the inlet side of my aftermarket cone air filter housing through that hole. The air is cool and high enough that dust and leaves don't get sucked into the air filter. Just make sure the engine gets fresh, cool air - not hot air from the engne compartment.

yea OK i know that they sold the cold air thing but i was was talkin about a "T" piece hooked to the maf with one filter on the leg of the tee, AND a piece of PVC or whatever running through the header panel with another filter on that end that'd be in the space between the grill and rad. Yea the one would still be sucking hot air from inside the engine compartment but the other would be gettin cool air. and it be gettin more air flow. so in short 2 filters instead of one.

welp, i nixed my idea for know now. the tee cost like 15 and a cheapy cone from the rice section is 20 apiece. didnt feel 55-65 was a low enough price for an experiment so i just made the standard 3" PVC painted flat black cold air induction gonna hook it up tommorow. Not gonn give up on my idea just yet though.

fireberd, i sent it to you email. cause i dont know how to do anything else really. If its crappy ill trace it in black marker or somthin but you can probly get the idea from it.
