comp cam 206 flat tappet

My question is since the popular 206comp is a flat -tappet cam,,, how often do the valves have to be adjusted?? I really don't want to take the v- covers off every 1000 miles or so. Would this be a good cam for the street like everyone says???

it's a hydraulic lifter cam....after initial installation it does not have to be adjusted.

its a hydraulic flat tappet......lifters as steve said are hydraulic. Sort of a best of both worlds kind of deal. Check the comp website for more info.
