I'm lookin for a complete 3.8 out of a Regal T-Type or GN. I have a non-turbo 3.8 that i bought out of an 84 buick regal, and still have my original 3.8 also. will sell both, but only if i get a good price on a complete turbo 3.8. You can buy my complete long block. 20,000 miles. Perfect condition. Never touched! It's sitting in Cottons shop. I need the sensors, and the pan, and a few other things.

well, an intercooled would be nice, but, i'd take a hot-air also, watever i can afford.
the car im puttin this in aint a Regal, however. its an 82 Oldsmobile Cutlass that has a stock 3.8. And since you rarely see a Cutlass with a turbo 3.8, I figured i'd do sumthin different. my knowledge is limited, tho, on these turbo 3.8's so be easy with me.

Oh, that's gunna be expensive piece-by-piece. You're going to need a wrecked car. You'll need everything!!
If you had to buy all the supporting crap to make a GN engine, you're looking at $$ and time. Wiring harness, sensors, ECU, headers, turbo, accessories, intercooler, and on and on, and of course, the engine.
There was a GNX engine and tranny on Ebay for around $4000. Then you need wiring harness, ECU, etc...electric fans, proper fuel system....Exhaust system..
Or you could just sell what u got and buy a GN?

Dropping the engine in is the easy part.... 
Getting it to run is a whole differant thing..

If you do some searching, you will find that the turbo cars had different wiring, different fuel tank, and some more stuff that's not going to be easy or cheap to find. It would be an interesting project, but not a good one for someone to tackle who was not an experienced mechanic. Well, by the time it's done, they WILL be experienced!

Ill sell you a complete engine with all the wiring harnesses for 1800.
well, u guys r probley rite, im gettin myself into too much for now, so, i guess i'll just stick to replacing my old engine with one like it. i'll wait a few years before i do anything like that. maybe then, tho, i might just go for the V8 instead... but, thats sumthin to worry about later. thanks to everyone for the help tho!
