I bought a New TV. Had my Wii set up on my old TV. I purchased a component cable for the Wii since it does not come with one and does not have an HDMI port. I am trying to hook it up to the new TV but the colors don't seam to match up.

I would think that the picture would look better if I connected the Wii component cable directly to the tv component video input.

Oh, thought the tV didn't have component plugs. All component cables are color coded the same. There should be white and red for audio and green/blue/red ganged together for vid.

Thanks. What was messing me up was this yellow cable. Not sure what it is for. This link does not show a yellow cable. I left it off and turned out great. I thought the yellow was the video cause the input on the back of the tv was yellow. Ohhh well. I posted the link if someone else has a component video problem this may help a little. I need pictures.....now only if chiltons came in a pop up version :D

i had the same problem a couple fo weeks ago hooking up an older PS2 to a newer 19" flat screen tv for my neice- the PS2 cables are the regular old red (right speaker), white(left speaker), and yellow (video).. the back of the tv had red, white, green, blue, and orange with nothing labeled.. and of course they had thrown away the instructin manual. i just kept plugging things in until it worked.
