My computer keeps shutting down on me and starting up like 15 to 20 times then im good for a few hours i have avg and adaware but cant seem to get through the adaware without it shuting down before its finished thanks John

Sounds like a heat issue, take it out to the garage and blow out the dust bunnies.

sounds like maybe a bad stick of RAM.

you can run a test before start up.
