Congratulations to Jim Rasmussen (gn1090ss) for getting his stock 109 block, iron headed car in the nines yesterday. He went 9.98 at 132.xx then backed it up with a 9.95 at 132.xx. The best part was the 1.341 60ft:eek: this car is hooking hard. My moroso power calculator shows 132mph with an ideal 60ft should be a 10.05!! He got the thing to 60ft better than optimum for the MPH.
Jim has had a rough year with the car & has worked real hard for this. Here is a link to the video.

Not at all. Full disclosure is the best policy:cool: I do need to give kudos to John here. It has been a very frustarating year until now and I must give thanks to John for building and tuning this engine and having it run like this ! He and his wife Marney sacrificed countless hours for me and even fed me and he never lost his cool on my mechanical inebtness a real straight shooter. Thanks also to Brian on a fine transmission, it sure does killer shiftin !
