Connecting Bars

I believe Hotchkiss sells a bar that connects the top and bottom rear control arms. Has anyone used these are they any count for drag racing

I use them. I doubt if they improve the ET any but I think they will help your mounting brackets last longer. I have Paul Ferry's lower bracket braces and some homemade reinforcement plates welded to the upper brackets. We just swapped in a 9" housing and everything was good. No enlongated bolt holes, torn or twisted brackets. I think anything that wil help distribute the load is a good thing.

I have the Edelbrocks on my car. They fit well and appear to work as designed. I have other bars guseting the lower control arms mounts but the edelbrocks add some extra triangulation.
