I'll tell you guys this, I'm pissed!! I sold my vette that i've had since i was 18 and been busting my 40 year old azz in this weather to provide for my family to get back in the army. How can this 22 year old get a free pass!!

It's because Barack Hussein Obama wants to pay people to dig holes and then fill them back up so they will vote for him in 2012. Don't get tied up with the government, you will end up on the bad end of a screwing.

You know the funny thing is, my grampa saw this comming. said this was what happened years ago! He said this in the 80's. Go socilist Obama FAG!!!(Probably not, I bet he's got a side deal!!!)

look at it this way; you are NOT paying this person for his wages for 90 days, during that time, if he proves to be a reliable good worker, you can keep him on job, and pay him through your company's accounting, OR if he doesnt prove to be good, you can release him before the 90 days are off, and you are basically out ONLY whatever he uses, depending on the company, IE materials and stuff...I went through the same to get a job and they laid me off before my 90 days were up, simply because the economy was takign a downturn...and so far i've not been able to get a job...i;m 27, but have no experience as a machinist, because i need an internship to finish my associates degree so i can go back to school for a mech engineer's BS degree, if i want to.

If you don't go get that engineering degree, I'd have to wonder what you are thinking?

because in order to be admissible for the engineering degree, i need to finish my associates, which for all the coursework is complete, save for the 10 week internship/real job, and before i can get into the engineering program at Rochester Inst of Technology, as a degreed student, i need to have had at least 2-3 years of actual work experience in order to waive some credits (which would add 2-3 years of course work, BEFORE getting into the 3-4 year Engineer degree program)...which, if im working as a machinist by then, i'd be getting paid and getting my experience of 5+ years and end up getting the same amount of pay for the loss of tuition and so on....

Oddly, my first job out of HS was in engineering. Did 5yrs. That was enough to decide I didn't want more, despite the school work I'd already done.

But this program isn't anything new. In my first week, I'd already been hired, and as I still lived at home and hadn't yet graduated HS, they asked if my parent's income level would allow participation in this program. It didn't but it also didn't matter so much back in the late 80's. I never investigated if this was a Reagan era thing, or some hold-over.

Try and look at it this way. That damn money is already spent. It's yours and mine! One way or another somebody is going to benefit from this program. Are you going to be that person who takes their own money back from the system? Or will you take some imagined moral high ground that keeps you toiling and paying, while somebody else's company takes the benefit of what you've earned and paid? I understand your anger, really. But somehow I think you'd really blow a head gasket if you knew how much is given away in just this fashion. Remember the green suited question mark crazy guy commerical's? He's no joke, there's so much of our money out there for free, you could swim in it. Don't be a fool. Take back what's yours. For your family.
