I currently have a te44, with 42 lbers and alky.
I have a 3200 vigalante, stock heads and cam
I am thinking about going TE 62 and 60s.
I've been 11.47 @ 116 with a 1.58 60'
With about 22lbs of boost
I'm looking for opinions on what I could run with the TE 62.

There's a few more mph with the 44. Usually boost in the high 20's some aggressive timing and converter slip at 5% or better to get that mph. In good air with all the above on 116 octane. 121mph is possible. Just bolting on a te62 and changing nothing will not do much. It will spool considerably slower than the 44 also. I've gone 10.61 on 93/alky with a big shaft p trim 60-1 turbo but had some work done. Bowls cleaned up fmic, PTC 9.5. To see any gain with the 62 you'd need to increase boost beyond where you are now.

My plan was to go to the 62 and then I thought I could go up to around 27 lbs. This would not improve my ET?

It would definitely make more power with the increased boost
