Has any one tried the TCI valve body for the 200-4r ? part #386020
I'm looking at one for my Toy

Thanks Craig

I havent tried it but i dont see any advantage deleting the governor circuit on a 200 4-R. Especially when we have been able to get various WOT shift rpm up to 6200 so far without effecting the other throttle angle shift points. No need to have 300 psi line pressure at minimum throttle angles and cruising. I wouldnt try it if the pump still has cast rings either.

This would be great for cars that dont have perfect TV cable geometry.

How doe the TCI valve body work? First time i've heard of it, But I have been out of touch for a while.

At no time do the instructions delete the governor circuit the transmission keeps the full automatic mode, insted is says it uses the t.v. for shift point chech out the instructions at tci's web sight:tciauto.com/v002/Instructions/Files/386020.pdf they also have a turbo one as 386021 not sure of the differances. I'm looking at this for a 421 Sbc backed by a 200-4r in a small car, and i want good solid shifts. So i'm going to try one i'll report back if it is any good
I see I'm not allowed to post urls, guess i'm spamming???? ok you need to add 3ws in front of the web address
Thanks Craig

Post pressure readings after yo install it.

I'd be interested in the info myself. as far as urls you need 10? posts before you can or it has to be a vendor if I remember right.

Bringing this one back from the dead because I am considering this. I've heard of issues of geometry with Holley equipped cars. I do agree with Bison's point about the pressure. Is there anything that can be done on the trans at the same time to prevent any pump issues?
