I would be interested in hearing the pros and cons of using a lockup or n/l converter. I figure this will be my next big purchase and want to be well informed. FWIW my combo is te44, 009s, PTE FM, mease dp soon, translator, etc
Thanks

Zak

PS I did a search and did not find what I was lookin for

Well...

I vote lock up.
Pro......you can have any stall and cruise and driveaility all at the same time. cake and eat it too kinda thing. :)
Cons.... Ahhh .... I can't think of any.

People will harass me (like I care  ) but with the technology of lock up converters, computer dfi and new wiring harnesses and ways to control lock up today, there is no reason to have a non lockup converter till you are deep, deep into the 9's @ weight.
So................with that in mind 90% of you could use a lock up. :D

I disagree with Bruce.....99% of us need lock up converters:D
