I'm working on a GN that the converter doesn't lockup. Someone swapped out the PM and installed a vacuum booster. I'm thinking who ever did the swap might have messed up the switch on the brake rod.

Anyone have a schematic of the converter lockup wiring/components. I know 12v goes through the brake switch and ECM provided the ground.

I have the factory manual but too lazy to look through it for the diagram.

Thanks

I'd just adjust the 2 switches on the brake pedal before I dug any deeper.

I'm no transmission expert but per Lonnie's website if you run a 12volt positive wire to the A port on the transmission and a ground wire to the D port, this will cause the converter to lock up in second gear. If you look at the transmission 4 prong plug, the A port is the top left one and the D port is the one right below it (bottom left). If it still doesn't lock up then you might have a problem inside the transmission, like the converter, TCC solenoid, or valve located above the solenoid. It is all explained on Lonnie's website.
