Just installed pat's 10in 32-3400 stall converter and noticed that it makes a strange noise, {like heater motor on high}. but you can't hear it outside of the car only inside, right under the console. it drives and shifts great, just the noise.is this normal for a higher stall? eric rubalid built the tranny which has never malfunctioned, so it's not the tranny as it didn't do this before the change in trq/cnvrtr. eric -help or any other tranny guru, thanks

Is dipstick or trans lines touching body. check tv cable and make sure its not jambed between floor and trans. i had a suburban that was sent to a trans shop three times by a service writer and had same noise they said when it cam back. I found they never bolted up fuel line and it was bent up against the floor. same noise you are describing. like a buzzing noise from under center of dash. lol

well got if figured out, steve at PPC ask that I go back and double check all the bolts and make sure their tight. well sure enough the tranny cross bar was loose, tightened them and whala no ,more noise:biggrin: i'm so releived it was a simple solution.
