Converter slip

On TCI's website, there is a formula for calculating converter slip, but I don't know what the trans ratio is.....I think the overdrive ratio is 1:1, but am not sure. Do I use 3rd gear ratio, since I don't shift into OD anyway?

3rd is 1.1
4th is .67 i think again

you must use 1.0,some guys where using 1.1 and THOUGHT they had great convertors till they entered the correct number
