This is a two part post
1st question
Will there be a rise in temperature between a stock stall D5 converter and a 2800 restalled 12" converter?
Will a 2800 stall 9/11 or 10/12 run cooler than a restalled D5 of the same stall?
The reason I ask, is that my stock D5 isn't locking up anymore and I need to replace it, but am concerned about tranny temps. I have a hybrid, and the rad is pushed to the max right now. I do run a big B&M external cooler with fan, but I don't want to load up the cooling system any more.
(Yes... I know, I looking into a custom made aluminum rad)
2nd question
I have a concern about streetability. Will there be a significant loss of traction going up in stall to 2800 from stock? The car is 2800 lbs.
Thanks
Paul
