Got it done except for securing hose near p-steer bracket. Worked out great! Thanks for all the awesome ideas! Pics are too big to upload, will modify and send.

It's just a catch can. If the car has a 160 stat and proper cooling nothing should be in the bottle.
Cars in the 60's didn't come with an overflow. They just filled to 1/2 inch below cap. Example a 1967 Camaro

The reason for one is tracks require one to be at least 16 ounces. So in case a little water does spit out, it doesn't do it on the track surface.

The billet ones used on street rods are neat.

you don't understand what a radiator overflow tank is for.. it's more than a "catch can"- it gives room for the engine coolant to expand into and then get sucked back into the radiator when it cools down instead of sucking in air.. it's one reason why radiators and the rest of the cooling system of a car lasts longer today than they did 40 years ago- it keeps the cooling system nice and full of coolant so there is no longer 2" of air in the top of the radiator allowing corrosion to start when the car sits.

i'd say to use the windshield washer reservoir- it's pretty big and it's designed to fit in the space available, and in the 8 years and 13,000 or so miles i've put on my car i don't think i've even used up a single tank of fluid to keep the windshield clean.

Ya, the car never sees rain but I figured if i yank it out I will regret it. Plan on doing a big road trip with it with my son when he is older. Maybey power tour or a Buick event.

I tucked my overflow bottle underneath the passenger side fender. Have not driven it this way yet but is should work fine. Also, through in a few shots of the new stroker engine. More pics to come as I complete the project.
