cooler lines

I am installing new cooler lines and an external cooler in series with the radiator.When running the out line(which I believe is the top line coming from the 200 4R trans) is it best for this exit line to go to the top or bottom of the radiator. Also when running a temp guage would this go top or bottom line at the trans. Thanks

yes pressure out is top fitting on the 2004r. Backwards from all the rest. Second,Measure temp at return fitting on bottom.

Bruce, Thanks for the quick reply. Does it matter if the exit line goes to the top or the bottom of the radiator when running an external cooler.
