Cooling lines?

Which line coming out of the trans is the out line? I thought somebody said a while back that the top line was out. Is this correct? I want to plumb my cooler to work in conjunction with the factory one,is this a good idea or not? I figured have it go thru the factory deal then to the add on one and back to the tranny. Make any sense? THANKS

Yes your thinking is...

correct, I beieve it is the top line at rad is return, but definitly is the bottom one at trans (return) if you trace it up from there.
