What is everyone using for radiators. My car gets hot after making a hard pass I have the duel fan set up on it im wondering if the front mount IC is causing it .

radiator

Getting my radiator done now, three row high eff 2" thick core.
On a 90 deg day in traffic I was seeing 190 deg with 18 year old original, though it was time to upgrade. Mine's being done locally but check www.arizonagn.com for radiator ideas.

i have a pte stock location intercooler but i use the f-body radiator, stock fan and 160 thermostat and the car runs around 170 with the a/c on in traffic. i'll eventually switch over to the ramchargers fansetup.

its only a hundred bucks for one from any local auto parts store. you lose the fittings for the oil cooler though, so you'll either have to ditch the cooler all together or buy an aftermarket oil cooler to mount. its also lighter than the stock radiator.

i'm happy with it.

Im going to have to look into that my car gets hot after running it hard like in a 1/4 mile pass. when you drive it normal it runs about 180.

Went through same thing two weeks ago. Wanted an aluminum or good three row, but could not find one with the 4 oil/trans. cooling connections, metal side tanks (be careful, some are plastic!) &/or that didn't cost a small fortune.
After lots of looking, solution was cheap & easy. Local shop replaced the core with same type core & used the original tanks, only $110. Looks new & original, & seems to work great, I'm here in central Ca. where commonly 90* or more & no overheating.
