Theres been lots of cloud services popping up that look promising but I think this one may be the Dropbox killer. More storage space than Dropbox right out of the gate and a more flexible platform for sharing. Mobile apps, etc, just like Dropbox.

Click my link below to sign up and you'll receive 20GB of storage space (15GB+5GB for following a referal). This isnt some "trial space" like Dropbox does with phone purchases, etc, its 20GB of free space forever.

Im really impressed. I use Dropbox for about everything and I believe this will replace it.

Thank you!!

The mobile app is better than Dropbox right out of the gate. Barracuda Systems is behind this service so it's not some fly by night company either.

Guess I'm too old-school, I just don't feel comfortable having my "stuff" on someone else's server. Sure it's encrypted, but what's that mean in today's world?

do you have a facebook page? any online photo albums?
if so, you've got "stuff" on other people's servers.

Can you copy folders as well? Occasionally at work we need to send a folder with pictures and info to an account and to be able to send a folder with all the files in it.

You can actually share outside your Copy folder. I assume thats what youre asking.

I'll have to check it out. FWIW, I wrote my own file sharing web server with a client app that versions, shares/collaborates and shows history, and I gave myself 2TB. The V1 is aimed at software programmers for C# .Net sharing, but the difference engine I wrote should handle any shared directories, though I don't have a Office or Image file comparison viewer yet.

Looks awesome. I'm in.

Thats pretty awesome.

Theres so many file sharing sites out there these days its hard to differentiate one from the other. I have a Pogoplug I use which is like a private cloud but the thing I like about this service is Barracuda are the ones behind it. I figure theyre going to do a better job security wise than most others since thats their bread and butter.

I got so tired of the command line tools and every code sharing tool was a billion dollars or was too difficult to even install or use when refactoring in the large, allah forbid you change a directory name and want to check in hundreds of "changes". unfuddle would choke the f out after day 3 in our development. Wrote my own, couldn't be happier:)

No social media (at all), just a small PhotoBucket account for media files too large to e-mail. Things that go on there are deemed safe for anybody to look at or copy. Not so much so with financial info, passwords, etc. Don't want that stuff stuck in a "cloud" somewhere...

Ive moved all my data into Copy at this point. Im going to keep Dropbox around for a couple more weeks but I was due to be cut back to like 8GB in a few weeks anyway so it wont be a big loss for me.

So far Copy has been rock solid. Ive got 28GB of data in the cloud now.
