Cork gaskets

I happen to have a spare cork gasket for my tranny. Do cork gaskets leak? ARe they any good for tranny pans? I just thought I might put the cork gasket when it comes time to change the ATF so I dont have to buy another gasket.

They`re OK, but a new gasket should be with filter anyway.
