I haven't found any good methanol sources near my home, but I did find done on Amazon. I know Razor's kit requires pure methanol (no lube).

Does anyone know if this stuff will work? "Torco Methanol 5 gal pail 100% Methanol race fuel"

Sorry I can't post a link at the moment, but that's the product name online.

YES - Torco is just the name brand - so as long as it is 100% Methanol - there shouldn't be any reason why you couldn't use it.

Thanks for the help. That's what I figured.

I know it's stupid expensive to order that way ($16 /gal) but I can't find any source within an hour of my home. As infrequently as I need to refill my reservoir (maybe 1-2 times per year), I'm okay with the cost.

There have been a few threads on the board about denatured vs methanol. My understanding is that denatured should work, but methanol is the preferred solution. Also, the car is already tuned for methanol so I'd rather just stick with it.

The closest "local" tracks are all 1+ hour away (Capitol Raceway, MIR). The other track I'd go to (75-80 Raceway) is closed this year; not sure if they'd sell it while closed.

Living in the suburbs of DC does have its drawbacks.
