I am looking to put a larger sized tire(and brand) on my GN rims(actually just the rear). I currently have 235/60/15 Dunlops all around. I have no tracking what so ever:mad:! What is the best street tire and best size to mount to the rear wheels for hooking???

I need traction:( please help. I do have rear air bags and a pinion snubber.

Thanks!!

You could do 265/50/ 15 275/60/15 or 275 /50/15 they all will work on the stock rims the 275/50/15s will be the widest but may rub on a hard corner or with passangers in the back . Ive got 275/60/15 on my car now and i think the taller tire works better for me . :p

275/50 are the same height as the stockers but, they are too wide for the 7" rim they will crown and wear the center of the tire out. You can use them but you must run lower air psi the get even wear.
I run 265/50 15 on my 87 with the t type wheels and I han=ve to ruin lower psi cause they want to crown also.

well i have the enkei GNX lookalike wheels...
i havent picked up my grand national yet but i get it on monday...
what size tire is on there and what is the width of the rim and size... are they 15s or 16s.. i dunno:o
