"Corvette style" master cylinder for T Type

I am thinking about trying the ssbc force 10 front calipers and also changing the master cylinder in an effort to improve the brakes. I am currently using a vacuum booster setup from an 85 or 86 monte carlo, it has the 11" booster. I wanted to know if anybody has tried using the corvette style master I see in Jegs that comes in 1" or 1 1/8" bore, for an improvement in braking power. I was also wondering if that style master would work with the Monte booster. I haven't bought anything yet so hoping someone has some feedback on this.
