Cost of turbo rebuild....

Just wondering the cost of having mine rebuilt vs buying a new one. I'm quite satisfied with the one I have now, but it's starting to blow smoke every once in awhile. So......what's the usual cost to have one rebuilt ? Can anyone recommend someone in the New England area, or a good buisness to deal with ?? Thanks !

That's a PTE turbo, so why not get in touch with them. You could also give John Craig at "Limit Engineering" a call. I'm guessing price will be in the $300 range. HTH, Brian

According to Majestic turbo they want 375 for the basic seal kit and about 675 to redo the center section if it is bad enough. So if you dont have any shaft play you are probably safe with the seal kit for 375.
