nnoooooooooooooo don't do it !!!!! 700 is a downgrade !!

is it?
because i can build a 700 with heavy duty internals(drums suncase shell ect) for about $500, whereas i would have to order all the 200 stuff off a vendor and have over a grand in parts.

ive built myself a 4l60e for about $600 plus converter thats held well over 500 hp and tq

if its a downgrade i wouldnt do it though, is there more potential in a 200?

do some reading alot of 8-9 sec cars here 750+ on 200r's
+ a better gear pattern

Sweet, one of my quotes got used as someones sig.

You can use one.
I ran one for years in my GTA ran a mid 12 @ 108 w/ stock turbo, IC and small 36lb inj. and crappy 2.0 60ft.
You will need to change/mod the crossmember to accomodate the rear mount, and swap two of four the wires (don't ask me which ones, its been a long time) of the electrical connector for the TCC.
If you have the skills to build a 700 to last, why not?
The 200 gearing might be better on paper but for all practical purposes its not even noticable while driving.

gearing was my main concern, i know the 200 has a lower 1st gear, but a 700 would be more reliable i think, i have a 200 to build but i would feel safer with a 700, ive got time to decide though
