Could it be the transmission?

I posted this in the general tech area and got nothing so maybe I will get the answers from you transmission guru's.

The car runs great under normal driving but when I give it a decent amount of go faster pedal the car hesitates at the beginning of each gear. It hesitates for about a second and the accelerates like normal. It doesn't do it every time and when it does it isn't alway the same amount of hesitation. The rpm's drop and do not flare. Could this be a shift solenoid? TV cable? I am not a transmission guy at all. I did change the tcc solenoid, filter and oil this spring. I went on the power tour and it ran perfect and a day or so after getting back this problem arises. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Not sure what you're describing.
Does it hesitate to shift into the next gear?
When Manual or Auto shifting?

No shift solenoids in the 200,if you are sure it's not a flair I would say it's engine driveability not a trans problem.

I just found the problem! I am sitting on the side of the road waiting on the flat bed to come get me. Fuel delivery problem. I have no pressure at the fuel rail. It is a new fuel pump:mad:

Here is the update on what I found.

Got home and dropped the tank and found the pump is actually turning on. However I could not hear it while the tank was in place. Once I got the tank off I plugged the wires back up and turned the key leaving the fuel lines disconnected. The pump didn't work. So I removed the pump and found that the pump had came loose from the pick up/pulsator. This must have just managed to happen over time because the pump is less than 2 years old. I guess the pump was barely hanging on when I was losing power at the shifts. When it came the rest of the way it stopped running. Problem solved and life experience gained. This won't be leaving my skull for a long long long time.

Loss of fuel pressure at high throttle can also cause a no upshift condition because enough road speed cant be obtained to generate a hi enough governor pressure to force an upshift.
