i just recently put a blow-off valve on my car. right now it's vented to the atmosphere, but it's getting annoying to hear it. would it be dangerous to vent it back into the inlet pipe with me using alky. i mean, the alky vapor that doesn't get burned and usually goes out to the atmosphere is now being sent back through the turbo.

If its a mist..I can see why it would hurt anything..I dunno.. I like keeping only air going through my turbo..

Get rid of the BOV..thats another solution :D

Normally alky is only applied during boost.
When you lift and the BOV pops there is no boost in the plenum.
You just need to make sure you reference the trigger for the alky to be in relationship to the plenum.

A foot or so of rubber tubing on the discharge of the BOV can muffler it's sound alot. Aiming down toward the ground also will help.

If the nozzle is located near the BOV, when you lift there will be alky in the up-pipe.. So I guess the distance between the two is key..

Guys that run a lot of pressure..you better believe alky will be in the tube..

Good idea on BOV muffler :D

well, the BOV is near the bottom of the intercooler and the nozzle for alky is pretty close to the TB. i can smell alky when i let out of it, that's why i asked. i think i'll be a pioneer on this one and just do it anyway. i like having the BOV because of not beating the turbo up, i beat the piss out of my stock turbo after my ta-54 ate some plastic. it was leaking oil when i put the te-44 on it and i didn't want to do that to the te-44 so that's why i opted for the BOV. it works well and i don't get compressor slam anymore at WOT.
