SignUp Now!i run a 3400 n/l converter and cpt66 nonbb .no issues what so ever and i drive it 30 miles street race it drive home and cruse town in it.like it alot
cpt66 bb or the 6765bb is the spool up too close to call?
I have heard of the 61 being an excellent Turbo but at 18 lbs of boost would that in any way be an upgrade for the street at 18lbs of Boost??
Is 18 lbs of boost with a bigger turbo(67 or 66) pushing more air than 18 lbs with a smaller turbo(44)?
I would think the bigger turbos would push more air and be cooler(more power) at lower boost levels. I know for a fact that my 44 made more power than the stock turbo at the same boost level(16lbs). I picked up 3mph and this was with pump gas(93 octane.) When I get mine back together I am going to running pump gas with the 6776bb I have and will post the times. I thinking it will be a huge difference. Our combo's are close so it should give you something to go by.
Is that with the new F1 wheel and 4" intel and 2.5 outlet?
The BB66 w/.63 housing and a 2800 stall 9x11 - is only slightly more laggy than my TA49 w/PTE .63 housing.
This is on a tired engine that only had 100psi of compression. I'm sure with a fresh engine it'll be a beast.
It would completely kill my MT Dr's on a 10psi launch - where it would dead hook on a 15psi launch with the 49. To bad after the 330' it was dead - due to the tired engine.
