CQ Pink tag

Found one sitting in the trunk of a MCSS..Guessing it was the original from the car, there is a KTF installed..Thing was sitting in the trunk with no decklid, marinating in water and tranny fluid in the spare tire well..
I tried to get it cheap, they still wanted $100 for a core..

I am guessing this was the orig MCSS tranny??? 84 area?

Yeah. Still worth $100 if the vb was not submerged.

Went back to this same boneyard today getting an ABS solenoid for my pickup and ran into two sets of frame braces for me and a bud..
10 bucks for both sets..
So I asked again about the tranny(still sitting in the trunk)
They let it down to $75, but I was already busted...Luckily I had flipped it upside down last time and it has been pan up for a while,thinking that only the tail end got any water in it..
Anyway asked how much if I grabbed just the VB and gov?
$40 bucks and I grabbed everything CQ except for the pump..
Not bad..i should have grabbed the entire tranny, but I didnt want to wait till next week, the cars were disapearing again..
Even grabbed the band piston..It was hard to make out the ink on the VB but it is in pink, and a spot for the 3rd gear pressure switch..also has the green gear on the gov, not sure on the weights yet, they looked a little big..
anyway thats my story for now..
