Cracked plastic in the gas tank

While doing a fuel pump sending unit R&R today, I noticed the plastic inside the fuel tank is cracked. Would this pose any type of issue?

My guess is no. It's only there to prevent fuel from sloshing away from the pick up. I put a replacement fuel injected tank in mine and the baffle was metal.
 
I have seen the baffles come loose and block the fuel pump. As long as it's tightly mounted, I wouldn't think the cracks would be a problem.
 
i had a baffle break loose and block the pump causing the pump to fail
