I've been looking for a new driver for a few days now. All I can say is, PUT YOUR MO---- FU----- PHONE NUMBER ON THE AD. I'am sick of emailing questions about a car, than getting a response two days later saying the car is sold, or better yet, not getting any response at all. I understand that there are tire kickers, but I'm sure that real buyers, like myself, would rather talk to someone person to person on the phone then have to wait all day for an email.

This isn't aimed at anybody here. Just wanted to vent a little....

NOT at all related to a TB sale or purchase of any sort. Trying to sell something, and getting those 2AM on a tuesday or wednesday morning calls about an item, or the prank calls and f'd up voicemail messages some people leave and no shows on items...etc...
Sometimes it's nice not having a phone number listed, not to mention if your item is listed properly, and priced right, it will sell with or without a number.
Just a perspective.....
And those pesky people that just keep calling after you sold something just to ream you out and tell you they would have given you a million dollars more for an item if you had waited just one more day...

I've personally never had anything like that happen to me, although I'm sure stuff like that happens.
So if a phone number is not listed, wouldn't you check your email a little more offen then once every 2 days. I responded to a guy's ad 3 days ago about an old skylark convertible. No number given. Car was just listed, no pics. I asked if he thought the car could be used as a driver. His response was, it needs a top, but it runs. What the hell kind of response is that? My 70 skylark runs, but it has no front clip or glass. He would have been better off saying," I'm not really interested in selling."

I have some money burning a hole in my pocket, and a truck and trailer to go get it. Maybe I'm just being a little b---h.

If someone doesn't leave a # in the ad I just email them and ask for it and/or I'll leave mine.
